Howdy All -

Where is a good place to have family photos taken?

Do any professional photographers take family photos on the beach?

Thanks Everyone!

Sorry I forgot to add on St. Thomas. I have looked in the phone book. But I would prefer to hear some recommendations.

Hello agv,

Magens Bay down on the right side by the rocks, by the water, palm trees, small fishing boats - multiple options in close proximity. Perhaps you could check with a couple of the resorts and see if you can take your photos there; most have really nice landscaping. Paradise Point, Mafolie Hotel, Blackbeards... you'd get a nice background of the harbor.

Islander, with all due respect, seems that poster agv is looking for a professional photographer to take a family shot.

Hello STT Resident,

Yes that is what I gathered from them asking "Where is a good place to have family photos taken?" and "Do any professional photographers take family photos on the beach?" 😉

I read the first post as they are looking for good places to have family photos taken - in line with beaches and such. So I named some spots that I think would provide for nice backgrounds in photos.

My answer make sense now?

PS. to agv, yes photographers can be hired to shoot photos on location. You will pay for this service. Hopefully others can give you some suggestions for photographers.

As usual, differerent interpretation of basic questions so touche!

agv - I think that mcgee has PM'd you. Think you might be very happy with this one as you're looking for something relatively simple. Mcgee has an excellent touch. No doubt more suggestions will come your way but I'll vouch for mcgee in a heartbeat for this venture, Cheers!

When we got married on STT we used Paradise Pictures...I forget the guy's name (Eric maybe?) but all of our pics turned out great ( We had some done at St. Peter's and an overlook of the bays)...Their # is 340.777.7663 and website is www.paradisepictures.vi

Hope this helps!

You might consider Honeymoon Beach/Water Island for your photo location
