just fyi: its looking right at $9000 port - to - port (Honolulu to St. Thomas) for a 8 X 8 X 20 shipping container.
The contents of the shipping container may include a vehicle + household items.

Are you considering moving to the VI from Hawaii? I have an interview this week for a job on the BI. There is a similiar position open on STX, which I haven't even applied for but I'm thinking about it. If you are looking into moving, what are some of the reasons and advantages/disadvantages of both places?

I'd go port -to- port any day. Oh I wish Matson sailed to STT...
Janet, hi, yes...I am seriously considering a move from Hawaii to STT. Its funny you mention the BI as thats the other target in my consideration. Bottom line is, if the university there lets me in to their masters program then Im Hilo-bound.
For me anyway, the BI's proximity makes it just too hard to beat, overall.
