Hey I ordered a computer off best buy and it was confirmed to ship here in the VI. They Shipped it from since the 28th of October and it hasnt been reciveved.
I called them and best buy is telling me it can take up to 45 days to reach since its on a boat.
Does anyone have experience with that.?

Did you ask them to send it Priority Mail. If regular mail it will be on a boat. Also if on a boat it's in a trailer. If it was the last thing to be put on the trailer, it will be the first one off. If it's the first in the trailer, last off which could add to the wait time.

I didnt ask them. i ordered online. There was no shipping option. I guess its regular mail. It fact its reached today. Best buy gave for a 50 dollar gift card for the late arrival. I never heard of regular shipping before.

glad you at least got the 50 gc. most places i use have a tracking number. might not hurt to ask if they have one

There was a tracking number. its was was stuck in new jersey without updating.

Just curious...I want to buy a MacBook from them (Apple doesn't ship here), and their website states free shipping over $50.
Did you have free shipping?

I ordered a chromebook from them about 6 months ago, free shipping, arrived in a week.
On the 7th I ordered a microwave, free shipping, it said estimated delivery November 14th.
I have been tracking it online, and after it went from UPS to USPS on the 12th it has not been updated...

picaflores hit on it - if they're shipping USPS, it is super slow. After our slow experience switched to using VI Cargo for electronics, much faster and easier to track on its way here.

yes they shipp here for free. I bought a mac laptop. Since it is free shipping its seems that they put it on regualar mail. UPS started the delivery and this it transferred to USPS.

It seems when UPS starts a delivery then it switches over to USPS, it is a much slower delivery process. IMO and from experience.
