Stephanie, before this thread got completely out of hand, you asked about some bars or restaurants that may be for sale and a lot of people came back with a lot of places that are for sale. As when looking to buy a house in a certain neighborhood, you always want to ask why there are SO MANY for sale! Why are these people all looking to get out? If it was such a great money making venture, why would so many of them be failing? Before even considering buying a business here, come to St Croix, live here a while, talk to all of the owners of bars and restaurants that are NOT for sale and ask them how business is, and whether or not they are turning a profit and how much money they have sunk into their ventures... don't assume the attitude of "Well, we will do it better!" I have seen a lot of people come down here thinkng the same thing. Just do your research before jumping into anything.

oh blah on it all anyway...
initially all i was doing was responding to a statement that was made saying that there was not much musical variety at clubs/bars, and i responded with a list of real-time in the present recorded local artists... http://www.vireggae.com/index.htm...along with my memories of the varieties of music around the island that surely must still be there...and i was told by the poster that they did not need a historical list of the islands musical talent...that kind of got me off kilter and made me react in a very immature manner, as did others.
i am letting it rest and will not get pulled in when i see ones in a particular mode.
it is well done this side.
lizard..pescate is fish.
so i am going to try not to give too many of my opinions anymore because most on here respond in a negative manner.
when i say privilege... i do not mean it in a particular way...until i read the following vibe and realized that i wake up privileged every day just because i am considered caucasion...no matter my socio/economical station...i had some privileged airs too...but i admitted it and worked through it and when i see it displayed i try to expose it
http://www.rootswomen.com/articles/whitebenefits.html
...sometimes i am too radical...but that is my nature. i truly mean no harm. when i apologize for something it means i have really meditated about it and have come to the conclusion that i am partially wrong (it takes two to tango in any situation) or if i have been unnecessarily mean, rude or brash...i need to tone down my warriorette nature...i am trying...a lifetime of fighting for truth, equal rights and justice for all mankind has made me a bit rough...but i do have a good heart.
so i back down from the semi remembered language of my childhood vibe and betty...perhaps we could both use some softening up...i know sometimes i come across more harsh than i am...words are hard on this machine...they do not replace face to face reasonings...

So you said (Pescate il punk del fronte di un cane) English translation "fish punk caught in front of dog" What am I missing here. Also my statement said (If I write in itilian I cant be accused of being a bully.) "Not Privileged" Little humor on my part ,I guess you didn't get it.

TRW, unless you are a licensed realtor, a commission to you is illegal according to the Board of Realtors........

If I was a realtor, I would give a friend a "finders fee" if they passed a customer on to me.

Doesn't matter what you call it, it's still illegal. I'm sure it's done all the time, but not talked about out loud.

Technically they are not allowed to give $$ to anyone who is not a Realtor.

Minor point that won't mean much...not all people with a real estate license are Realtors. You must have a license to receive compensation, but you don't have to be a Realtor. A Realtor is a member of the National Association of Realtors. It's a trademarked word, and it's always capitalized. Whenever someone says they are a licensed Realtor, that is redundant.
