I think the jobs number will be pretty close to a wash. I don't see "new" employees being hired right away. There are roughly 160 people there now. A large portion of them are there to satisfy the requirements of the RCRA permit which requires ongoing mitigation of that famous underground spill. Not just straight Environmental people, but support staff also. The Env dept is responsible for the overall program performance but they don't do equip maint, well maint etc. These activities will be on going and are the responsibility of HESS not ArcLight/Limetree. Now some of those people may be offered positions with ArcLight/Limetree because AL/L will also need people to fill similar positions on their side but there is likely never going to be a time when HESS doesn't have a presence there.
