I was wondering if anyone has heard that a new Home Depot is coming to STX??????

We've been hearing that for the last 3 years. I'll believe it when I'm standing inside the store.

Some excavation is being done in the clifton Hill site.

I know the guy who is developing the project. The permit applications have been in for a while. Their plan is to build not only a Home Depot but a whole shopping complex around it on something like 40 acres across from the Hovensa Training School along the 4-lane highway. Once DPNR cooperates by producing their permits, they should start construction pretty quickly thereafter.
