I make Ice Cream, and my family and friends say I should go commercial and open a little shop on ST Croix. However I don't think there would be much of a market. Just curious and wonder what you opinions are regarding ice cream on the islands. And how many flavors do you think you need (really), and what is your favorite flavor. By the way, this is all natural ingredients made with real milk and cream.

I don't know where the other 2 places are. If you open a shop on the east end I will buy ice cream every day. We love homemade ice cream. Chocolate, Strawberry, vanilla, and maybe some orange sherbet. Are the other 2 places homemade Ronnie?

Yes, one is Armstrong's who have been doing it for years. Lots of local flavors as well. The other, I don't know the name, but they are on one of those roads into Gallows Bay closer to the 2nd hand shop there.

The owner ran the shop as a retirement job. then retired from this job. Best ice cream I ever had. Shop was for sale. Owner will train buyer as well as pass on his delicious recipes. Owner has been maintain property so it should be in good shape.

Great business opportunity for someone who wants to work.

Theres a new ice cream place behind brew pub and after hot heads on the board walk as well. Quite a few stores sell ice cream downtown it just isnt there only focus. The ice cream is fine down here but I've never seen a real ice palor but I dont think one would do that well here either. While people enjoy it here it doesnt seem like the locals are as big as gluttons as statesiders are. If you did it here I would want to be in a really great location, something easy to get in and out of and preferably close to some fast food places. Sunny Isle seems to be working on some kind of food court next to the new pharmacy there.
