I was wondering how big the
hospital is on St. Thomas, is it
fully staffed, and capable of
performing surgeries ?

Jeff,
I just moved here, so there are certainly others who can provide more detail. However, I do know that it did just pass the JACHO accreditation. This is the organization that accredits American hospitals.
I checked into it a little before I moved here. My impression is that it is OK for routine stuff. I don't think I'd want to have a heart transplant here.

You might visit for size on hospital, pictures, services...
Yes they perform surgery.

There are general surgeons, ENT, orthopedic and even a part-time neurosurgeon, but sorry, Mike, no cardiac surgeons!!!
