While job hunting, I was wondering what if most of the people on the job are locals. This isnt a bad thing but would I be able to understand their English, is it like Jamaica where you can't understand what they say, or more just like English with an accent but understandable

Yes the majority of the island's population are Caribbean people from the USVI or from other Caribbean Islands. English is the main language, people on the job will speak it and you will understand.

It depends what kind of job it is. Our dialect is similar to Jamaican English but I find it a bit closer to standard English but not THAT much of a difference. But you won't have a problem understanding it, you'll be fine.
