Hello Islanders!
Wanna live in paradise, but is St Thomas the right place to go and will there be a job for me/husband to support our family? I have been a mainlander all my life, so this would be a "great adventure" to be turned into an islander! Does anyone have info on healthcare positions, specifically Biomedical Technicians/Clinical Engineering (repair medical equipment, i.e x-ray machines to infusion pumps to anything with batteries/power cord)? Are there any positions in the hosp for materials management, housekeeping, patient transport, maintenance, etc? Any info would be great!

Nickey: You can check the hospital web site: www.rlshospital.org. I am pretty sure they have a contractor for the radiology dept equipment, don't know about the rest.
