If one is sufficiently affluent to afford to purchase/build and maintain a $500,000+ home here then moving and living here is very easy, no question of that.

I wish they wouldn't print things like this. People seem to think all they have to do is buy insurance and they can fly off wherever they like for whatever reason. Medical evacuation insurance is much more complicated than that.
