How to re-register your car on STT

Hello everyone,

I have been borrowing a friends car since I moved down here (he is state side) and the registration sticker is set to expire this Tuesday. I have not been able to reach him and have not had any luck looking on line (except for the VI now moving site- but it does not give much info) to find out what papers I need and where I need to go to get a new sticker.

I have proof that the car is insured and my valid drivers license but that is all in the way of paperwork. Is this something I can take care of w/o the person who owns the vehicle? And if so, where can I go to make this happen?

Thanks a lot for helping me out!

Take the registration paper & the insurance card to the BMV behind the Pueblo store in Sub-Base & go first to the inspection lane to have it inspected, then go inside with that paperwork.

Unless they are different in STT than in STX you will need to have a copy of the drivers license for the registered owner.
