Posting on a well-frequented travel forum usually brings the best results.

Feel free to do so and help HSSTT and the pups as this is the only forum site I am on.

The humane society should spread the news on Facebook if they are not doing so already. On STX the organizations and individuals who work tirelessly to home animals achieve great success through shared posts.

On STX, they're always looking for people to help get their pets off island, too. Jamison is looking for someone going to Chicago or Maine.
Check with your animal care facilities.

HSSTT does post on Facebook but thanks.
Y'all feel free to share.

I tell all my visitors about the STX flights, and a few have been willing and able to escort pups. One wanted to, but was flying to a destination that didn't work out, so she left a donation. The more people who know about this effort on both islands the better. Even if people can't take dogs back, It might help with sorely needed donations.

(tu)

STJ also has a program, I believe.
Thanks everyone for helping get the word out and helping our islands' unwanted pets.
