We are going to have accordion hurricane shutters installed on a double set of sliding glass doors. We have a quote from Centerline. Does anyone have experience with this business? How is the quality of their product and their installation/service? Any recommendations for other company's on STX?

Try John at Kokomo's. He is located at 5 corners. on the less main street that goes toward the projects. As you are coming from Csted on 75, at 5 corners you go straight not jogging left to stay on 75.

Kokomo's only does accordian type shutters.

This last year I got quotes from Kokomos, Whiteclyiffs (does panels, accordians and wood with steel inside the wood), Plantation view (only does wood) & Centerline. I felt Whiteclyffs was the best all around, they have been here the longest and do everything. There service was extremely professional and competent. They've know where the problems will be, they come out and premeasure and make suggestions and give you all the options and then install it themselves. They were who I used for the bulk of my project. Not everyone install themselves or will measure it themselves and a mistake could end up being VERY expensive.

This is a good business venture for any carpenters out there, almost all of the quotes I got (except for the metal panels) were in the 20k range more or less.
