I need your help please !!!!!! I have been with this young gun guitar player for the past 5 years, I can honestly say he is a Rock and Roll box of chocolates, you never know what he is going to do with his music. I have every dream of bringing him to St Croix for a small tour but I fear he will be to big and to busy to help me out when the time comes. He will one day be a house hold name.

Enough rambling from me. Please go to. www.playcrossroads.com/ryanmcgarvey . Please register and give him a vote. I can not go into details but out of more than 3000 bands that have registered to win a chance to play the Eric Clapton Crossroads concert. Ryan is ranked at # 30 out of 3000 and he signed up 4 months late.

If you are a musician please support a fellow musician / Guitar player, singer, song writer. I will be hiring bands on a regular basis once I get the doors open. If you rock me and make my feet stomp, your going to have a gig. Make me dance and I'LL call you Jesus. I promise you,you will not find a finer player or a person with so little ego. It is with sadness in my heart that I walk away from him and open this bar on St Croix but we all have different dreams and mine is this bar called " Above the Cliff ". I love guitar driven, Blues / Rock and I have walked away from many different things in my life,he is by far the hardest .

I have typically ask only for advice here on this board, now I am asking for a smidgen of your time. Please register and give him your vote or check him out at www.ryanmcgarvey.com

I think if u set up a link to the page you would probably have better luck. Is he your boyfriend or are you his agent ? " make my feet stomp and I'll call u Jesus " funny.

Good afternoon, Mr. C:

I too, like Pamela - tried to vote, but I am not having any luck either. Ryan would be an awesome guest singer to "Above the Cliff." Wishing you every success in your restaurant and Ryan in his singing career!

Thank you all for your time and efforts .It is a pain and I really don't how I accomplished it. I tried and failed and then it decided to work. No he is more like a Son and Little brother .You can safely say I don't swing that way but each to their own. How in the heck do I post a link,I'M not the greatest with computers.

Noah,to answer your question. I have seen a Shrink every year for the past 20 years and I won't be needing one in the future. I have achieved much more than most people thought was possible and I will continue to do so. There is nothing going on that is impossible to achieve. I don't wear Rose colored glasses and think I have chosen a life of easy street. Some will love what I will do and some will not be able to stand the sight of me. That's just the way it is. I don't like everyone I meet, most people have a hard time agreeing to disagree and just getting along. Some of my better friends and I have started out by disliking each other. If you find the correct people to deal with from the beginning, you can mitigate many problems others have had to deal with. I am taking no short cuts and I am not going to try and get away with anything. I realize the inspectors may say things like, your solid concrete ceiling needs to have fire proof sheet rock on it. We will deal with problems as they arise in a professional manner. It's kind of like I told the Landlord when I met him the first time. I'M not a drunk or a fool, half crazy maybe. I guess a lot of what you try to achieve,is how you look at it and what you expect to get out of it. I expect a lot of hard work, more new friends and a few whiners that I will never be able to satisfy. To be where I have been for the past 20 years, this is a cake walk. People want my business and I am in need of their services. I have already dealt with the no shows and circumvented a way around them,no short cuts or violations and all of these people are on the blessed VI approval list of installers. Is the glass half empty or half full ? It just depends how thirsty you are. See you soon Amigo.

chockman, you can post a link by pasting in the entire URL (web address) in plain text, starting with the http, and this forum will automatically recognize it and convert it to a link, with the display truncated after the ".com". To avoid typo's in the URL, go to the web site separately to confirm the address is correct, then copy and paste the URL into your posting.

Here is the link to, "Please register and give him a vote":
http://www.playcrossroads.com/ryanmcgarvey

Here is the other link: http://www.ryanmcgarvey.com/
which redirects to: http://www.myspace.com/ryanmcgarvey

My last count said he was listed as top 27 over all. Climbing fast, thanks for the help. I know the web site is a Bit(# .

Who are the Rockers on island ? Danceable guitar driven Rock,Country and Blues. Short of Trailer trash with an ocean view,The Blues society, Matt Verba and the,Outlaws in Paradise,my exposure has been limited. What other bands can you folks turn me on to. If I like their music and the crowd is right, none of their artistic music expression will be screened. Play what feels good and fits the mood. I don't care who wrote it.

I watched some of his You tube videos. He's definitely a player. I'll have to try and catch a show when I return.

Thank you, to all of you who answered this post. I know the Web site is a Bear.

HE WON AND WILL PLAY AT CROSSROADS WITH ALL THE GREATS.

Now if I can just get Him to St Croix for your listening entertainment. There is only one way into this exclusive gig. That is to be invited by Eric Clapton himself. Thanks again.
