Wouldn't you know? We have a mini vacation planned to Puerto Rico, leaving tomorrow afternoon. Yesterday evening, on my way to work, the brakes started making a hideous noise, like the whole wheel was going to just come completely off the car. We knew we needed to get the brakes fixed, but had the idea that we would do that when we got back from Puerto Rico later this coming week. Apparently, the universe didn't care for our plans and wants those brakes fixed NOW. But, NOW is putting me in a serious bind. Any and all help would be appreciated, as usual.
