I know this topic is not as exciting as the rest but I have a couple of quick questions for anyone who has an answer or advice. My husband and I lived on STT for 2 years and have been back in the states now for 1 year. We are seriously considering moving back. I am in the Insurance field in Ohio and have both licenses here. What are the qualifications and requirements for obtaining a license in the USVI? Also, do you have any insight as to what, if any, opportunities there are for someone with some experience and a lot of ambition to find work on STT? Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hello there. I unfortunately know nothing about insurance, licensing etc., however just went through the process as a psychotherapist. I found that it was very difficult for me to get information or any directions.

As such, I went to the Small Business Development Corp, which is a combination of both the SBA and the University of the Virgin Islands. I met with the most helpful person in the world. Her name is Frandelle Girard, and her telephone number is 340-692-5270 ext. 12.

When I explained my dilemma to her, she was able to scan the computer link with the Territorail Government, and had the paper work to me within minutes, along with all of the guidelines for submission.

I hope this is helpful in some way to you,

Best wishes in all,

Dan
