I have just started renting a place that already had an internet antennae mounted. I want to get internet service, but I don't know which company to go to. Does anyone know which internet provider this antennae (shown below) belongs to?

Thanks

Your picture didn't show up for me, but odds are it's Broadband VI.

Choice's recent hardware is a small unit that will sit in the window.

Broadband's will be a box-like antenna on a support that looks similar to what you'd see a small satellite dish on. They have a few versions out there and their installation fee includes the new antenna so if it's older they'll likely replace it. I've also seen a bar-like affair from them but that's probably a commercial one.

Innovative will be on the cable of course.

...so likely if you see an antenna outside it'll be BroadBand VI as JulieKay suggested.

Doesn't the landlord know?

May not, if a previous tenant installed it. Not all landlords inventory "stuff."

True but he'd have to give permission for the installation so maybe he/she would remember.

If you have the POE (Power Over Ethernet) device, plug it in and give BBVI a call to activate.
