Are there any? I don't have a computer but would still like to have occasional internet access.

Beans, Bytes and Websites is an internet cafe right downtown.

Beans, Bytes and Websites is about it downtown. At Crown Bay Marina there's "Messages, Mail and More" 776-4324. There used to be some places by Havensight but since most cruise ships now have Internet access on board there seem to be fewer options.

Thanks for the help! is Beans Bytes and Websites a nice place? Do they only serve coffee or can you get a beer too?

Yes it is a great place! I have spent many hours there planning for our move. They are very friendly. As far as I know they do not serve beer, only coffee.

I live in STX but when my computer has been on the blink I've had the opportunity to use the ones at the public library. It was A LOT CHEAPER then our internet cafe' -- which I also used and wasn't impressed with. So, if you can forego the coffee, check out the library. FUNGRL

There are still a few in Havensight. CyberZone which is located next to Shipwreck Tavern in Havensight is a great place, clean, safe, and drinks are served.

If you go to Beans Bytes and Websites in the alley of Royal Dane Mall, say hello to Mary the manager. Also, if you go early... like right after they open... visit with Ellen. She is a fixture there and has her own saved seat. Right next to her, in his white shirt and paints, usually sits 'Dougie' the cafe's resident jack of all trades. He LOVES having all the women sit by him!

2nd floor of the Tiffany's store also has a FREE interent set-up. You can buy coffee and some wrapped candy stuff as I recall. They were really nice to me for the first week during which I visited daily while staying with Ronnie at The Crystal Palace. Fast connection, really nice computers.

If they're still there that is!!!!
