Me and my boyfriend are moving to St. Thomas at the first of Oct. We are both professionals with degrees in Advertising and Sales, but we are really looking for any job that pays well enough to have a semi comfortable stay on St. Thomas.
Questions:
Is the Villa Fairview a good place to stay while finding jobs and a apartment?
Are their jobs available that we could make enough money at to afford a 1 bedroom in a safe part of town?
Is there any obsticles to relocating that we might not know of?
Please Help any advice is GOOD!

megan,

Yes, Villa Fairview is a good place to stay. Yes, there are jobs available that pay enough so that the two of you can afford a one bedroom place in a safe part of town. There are many obstacles to relocating but I have no way of knowing whether or not you are aware of any or all of them. The best advice I can offer is for you to read past posts on this site and the now 44 "Moving Stories" here: https://vimovingcenter.com/what_to_expect/ After you've done that let us know if you have any questions and we'll try to answer them for you.
