Hi.

Is anyone out there using a phone as a pass-thru to watch tv on a flat screen? What do I need to do this?

I occasionally use my iPhone to watch Netflix and Hulu on the TV when I am away from home. All you need is one of these.

It plugs into the iPhone and into the composite RCA connectors on the TV.

Hmm. I have an Android. My phone is the modem for the pc. Can I, and how do I, connect the tv to the computer? Will it work?

Thanks! I am coming to the experts for advice!

If you have a flat screen TV it will work as a monitor when attached to your computer. Older computers have VGA connectors while some newer computers have HDMI connections.

The second of several options is to purchase a Blue Tooth adapter/video streaming kit. A Blue Tooth dongle goes in a USB port on the PC and a receiver adapter is plugged into an HDMI port of your TV. Warpia makes an adapter that works well if your PC has the processing power.

Hi saucey,

The Warpia unit Jim Dandy mentioned works well for me. I got mine via Walmart.com. Just an added note to make sure your data plan is sufficient to cover the usage, otherwise your ISP bill could surprise you...

Regards.

For those in their mid forties who have a PC connected to their TV, the coolest thing is to download MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) and find some of the old arcade game ROMS on a torrent somewhere. I'm talking the original Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Frogger, Galaga Tapper etc. right on your TV. I also got one of those joysticks that they make for the big arcade games and hooked that up to the PC as it's harder to play them with a keyboard.
