I recently purchased an Invisible Fence brand pet containment system but due to my neighbors not containing their dogs, cannot use it with my dog. I wanted to see if anyone was interested in it from the islands before I put it up on Ebay. It is a complete system and comes with technical support (even not for the original buyer). If anyone is interested, PM me.

I thought about the same thing before I came and glad I didnt invest in it. Even if your neighbor didnt have unruley dogs there are simply just to many feral dogs on the island. To protect your pet here you really have to put a fence up and even a chain link fence is not cheap here. I enrich two of my landlords with good fencing before we bought. If you love them put up a fence. You can always do a cattle fence is budget is an issue.

I can't afford to put up a fence that the homeowner's association allows. Invisible Fence is a solution to a lot of those issues and is a great start. He has a pen and I was only going to use the I.F. when I was home. Thanks for your input but the offer still stands, if anyone is interested please PM me.

we use one here in the NW - works great and I use it when I am home - I don't ever use it as an alternative to paying attention, but at least I can leave the door open while I garden etc.
The feral dogs are a problem that needs to be addressed, as are the dogs that people just let run loose.
