I want to take my Lexus with me (It is my baby!!) when I go to St. Croix. I understand the closest Lexus dealer is in Puerto Rico (Is this true) Do islanders ever ship their cars for service? Is this realistic? Is there a ferry service from Puerto Rico to St. Thomas? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

I'm sure the Toyota dealer there can handle your Lexus just fine.

Hello,
No car barge ferry between the islands. You would be actually shipping it there if you choose to do that.

Manny thanks! You folks are a great help. i will call the toyota people in the morning. My other good news, I will be able to ship ALL my dogs (I have 5 large dogs) to St. Croix on American AL at thre same time! I was concerned they would not let me take more than one at a time. Yeah!!

I called American Airlines Cargo The number is on their website. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about all kinds of animals. They even have a service that will walk my dogs during a layover from La to Miami! I am relieved but it is going to cost me almost $1200 for each dog, expensive, but what else can i do??LOL They are like my kids! Email me if you have any questions.
