I've got some clothes and non-perishable food items that I want to donate. Anyone have any recommendations for the best place to do it? Would the animal shelter store would be interested in them?

The Animal Shelter Flea Market would really appreciate your donations as it really helps fund their programs. The building is near the Richmond Post Office.

There is also Christiansted freecycle, good way of getting rid of stuff and sometimes you can exchange as well. Some really nice people on this group.

The AWC flea Market is wonderful! They have been closed for renovation (though always accepting donations) but are having a reopening event this Saturday June 2, 2012. Good people and a good cause.
