I will be arriving to st croix in August. If anyone knows of any job opportunities in August I would love to hear about them so I can get lined up with a job fairly quickly. Please and thank you

August and September are generally the lowest tourist season month's of the year. Make sure you have enough money to see you thru a couple months, in case you cannot find a job, right off.

What is that you are interested in? What's your vocation?

Describe what that entails, so we all understand.

Many boats go in dry dock in August, and few people worry about getting vehicles detailed at height of hurricane season. Many detailing operations are sole proprietors or hire people on call.

You can check with all the marinas to let them know you're available.

Have you done a pre move visit to see if any opportunities in this field are available? Most of these outfits are pretty tied up by locals.

It doesn't get real busy until December or January. Have you done any research on living in the VI? Do a PMV.

Even willingness to take any job does not make finding work quick & easy on STX. Without enough $$ life can get pretty crappy here til you hone the skill of inventing your own work.
