I got hired today and we are headed to STX on Wednesday to look for a place to live. We are so excited. We will be on STX for 6 days to take care of business then we head to STT for 5 days of fun. I have to fly back on the 3 and start work on the 4th. Things are crazy right now but it is nice to see of dream is really happening.

We found a condo to live in and we signed a year lease. We had very busy 6 days. I had a great visit to the hospital where I am going to start work on the 18 of May. We did a little bit of tourist stuff but more things like checking out the grocery stores and Kmart. We fell in love with the island and can't wait to come down to live. Are plan is to try it for a year and see what happens. The advice we got from most of the people we met was to come with an open mind and thats what we are doing. I will keep posting in case anyone cares. I look forward to diving snd enjoying all the island has to offer. Hope to meet some of you soon.

Sounds like you really did pack in a lot in those six days and accomplished much! Have fun on STT and hope the move goes smoothly.

Thanks Old Tart it sure is beautiful here and alot different than STX. I am amazed how different the 2 islands are in the short time we've been here. I am glad we are going to STX but also glad we are able to come up here to visit.
