Happy Birthday you OT - having an island version of an English Trifle in your honour - no fresh fruit, no "hundreds and thousands", no slivered almonds, no lady fingers, no Birds Custard but it does have sherry 🙂 oh and Veuve Clicqot and Chambourd (as a drink of course not in the trifle) 🙂

It's a new day, just setting here thinking of my former home, the friends and neighbors we left behind and how lucky we are to be here!

BTW. Central California is 46 degrees and FOGGY!

STX forever!

One of these days I'll pop over and make you a proper one! 😀 Anyway, thanks to all for the birthday wishes and a very nice day was capped off with a delicious dinner at Thirteen which was a lovely treat. Another beautiful day has dawned and all is well!

Heading to STJ with the paddleboard... and a good friend!

If you were on the Mister B, we were in the jeep next to you yesterday, heading to STJ, too! We went to Grootpan for some snorkeling where we saw two lion fish.

Hah, coincidence... It was me. There is no more anonymous with the internet. Had to look up Grootpan Bay, will check it out. Again a big 5 star rating for Vie's garlic chicken and johnnycake, SO glad I can't get it on STT.

Went to a house sale today in Smith Bay Estates across from Pavilians and Pools. Omg what a great house built in 1700.
Someone please buy me that house. It's built of stone! Tart you must remember passing that one!
