New owners on the island.  We have a large shipment of furniture and appliances arriving on the island next Saturday.  I was told we would have to go through customs on Monday.  I am wondering if there are companies with moving trucks or UHAULs that can help me move my shipment to our new condo. What do people usually do??  Any advice is appreciated.

What's considered a large shipment?  A whole container?  A few pallets?  That will help with an answer.

I haven't used them, but I've heard good things about Bob Lynch Moving and Storage https://boblynchmovers.com/

They indicate that they can assist with customs and should be able to assist with that as well as delivering your furniture and appliances and getting them inside for you.

Welcome to the island!

You can also ask company you're shipping your belongings with for recommendations for customs clearance and delivery.

Contact Boynes Trucking.  They do all of the clearings for my business and they can also arrange for transport.  They have always been great to work with and affordable. There have been backups with excise especially lately. So be patient.

Viking is great for moving. They are behind the hospital.
