Hi I am buying a car this week in STX and was wondering what are the rules, how do I check for a clean title, tickets ect.. and what does the seller need from me? thank you for any help

I would hope the agent your buying from would have it checked out. I bought from a individual in Nov and went to the government office across from McDonalds in Orange Grove area with them to have everything (title -bill of sale etc) notorized. Then I had yo go to license offices in center island with proof of insurance to get the registration changed. It will take lots of time. Tedd
