Any lawyers out there re-locate from the states to St. Thomas to work as an attorney? I'm an attorney in New York City at a big national firm, and am curious to know how other attorneys have fared seeking legal employment.

Thanks!

From what I've heard, the public defender's office is always hiring. I've had several attorneys tell me that their offices were hiring but I decided not to practice law when I moved here. If you do plan to practice, I would start by contacting as many firms as possible to see about hiring plans over the next year. Good luck!
