Dear daniel, You are on the board quite alot and know the island. Is there a shortage of qualified contractors on the island. I have been in the business for years and I had not thought of going that route when I get there in late Dec. Do you think there is a need for more.

there is an enormous need for contractors who know their stuff and get things done somewhat on time and not too far out of budget. I have projects on my own home that I have been delaying far longer than I like for the lack of available contractors to do the work. I imported a contractor last winter to assist another client with renovations on a condo she had just purchased since it proved impossible to find someone locally who was willing to do the work when she needed it done.
