I'm a fit and healthy 46 year old male, (licensed practical nurse) living in Victoria, British Columbia , Canada. I would very much like to relocate to the Virgin Islands for short or long term residency. Can anyone help me find a contact for employment prospects before I arrive. I currently work at Victoria General Hospital in the Emergency Triage Department, Neuro-Sciences (head injuries/tumors/strokes) and Geriatric Rehab. units. I have excellent references from physicians and co-workers. Honest and reliable. Please email any info you may have to: [email protected] Thanks and have a great day!!!

Eric: The first question is: Do you have a green card?

HI, and thanks for reponding. No, I was told that Licensed Pracical Nurses could get a green card when they find employment. Thats why I would like to have an employer prior to leaving. Does this make sense? Eric

Hmm, well I haven't heard that, but... here are some options:
Roy L Schneider Hospital St Thomas: www.rlshospital.org
Juan Luis Hospital on St Croix: www.jflusvi.org
I believe they have job listings and are pretty good about e-mail.

On St Thomas:
Seaview Nursing And Rehabilitation (SNF and long term care): 340-777-3303
Seaview Home Health Care- 340-775-1660

On St Croix
Continuum Care (Hospice) 340-772-2273, also on St Thomas, but I don't have the number here.
Seaview Home Health Care - 340-719-7921

There are also Health Department jobs on both islands, I don't know that calling would get you very far, but: 340-774-9000 on St Thomas and 340-773-1311 on St Croix.
Good luck!!
