OMG, if this does happen, will the Trump haters praise Obama for making this happen some how? Can't wait to read the negatives on Trump on this, they always make me smile knowing that some people allow their hate filled minds to not see things rationally and with all the facts. Alana, care to comment? Can't wait to see the hate...

BTW, I'm not a huge trump fan, but let's give the guy a chance, as we all did with Obama, maybe we will see real change. 🙂

Dave, Alana hasn't been here to comment since Irma. I think [ not saying this to be mean in any way ] that she got tired of m people bashing her for her hatred and hypocrisy of trump

I never intended to turn this into, yet another, heated political debate.

Just hoping these policy changes really do bring prosperity back to St. Croix. Loosing HOVENSA was disastrous for this territory.

We need another means of income besides fickle tourism. They're already anticipating massive losses for this season.

I know, but it was her own fault, she spread her hatred of the man in every post. It's fine to disagree, but she was over the top. At times she was great and then other posts involving trump, she let her own opinions take over the topic. I mean her no disrespect, but got tired of listening to the MSM talking points about our president whether you like him or not. Plus she did the same to Oldtart time and time again, but that was OK. Anyways, I wish her well.

As to making this political, I apologize, but if it does happen, I think it has more to do with trump then Mapp. What happened to all the other 'Chinese Promises' that he made from more tourism, to hotels, etc.
I really don't want him to get credit for this, as I don't think he deserves it.

All being said, great news for STX if it does happen.

Mapp talked woth Sinopac YEARS before Trump had heard of our VI President. The last that I heard regarding the hotels, was that the hold up was fed holdups regarding zoning etc.... I am not a real big Mapp fan but Trump taking credit for stuff that predates him taking office is wrong as well

According to Bloomberg, though details of the project were yet to be finalized, Sinopec is expected to partner with ArcLight Capital and Freepoint Commodities LLC — a Connecticut commodity trading firm which owns a 20 percent stake in Limetree Bay — for the deal, which is expected to be worth more than $7 billion in investments.

Well now... I'm ready for it!
