Hi all,

I'm moving to St. Croix at the end of the month and wanted to know if anyone has recommendations for local car insurance companies on a leased car?

Thanks,
Natalie

I would think any leasing company would have an insurance plan in place and wouldn't be surprised if it was mandatory.

...because it describes how ridiculously inadequate our insurance minimums are.

"Commonly known as 10-20-10, the minimum liability coverage required for noncommercial drivers in the territory provides up to $10,000 in property damage per accident, and a total of $20,000 in medical expenses, but not more than $10,000 in medical expenses for any one individual.... Those minimums were set in 1975"

I started with Guardian, who wasn't even willing to sell me higher coverage. Then I switched to Marshall & Sterling for higher coverage.

Thank you! 10/20/10 did seem low. I would think at least 50/100/50...

If you are able to get it, USAA! Higher coverage and cheaper!!!
10/20/10 was all I was able to get before.

We used Executive Insurance and were very pleased with them.
