Hello all,

We are trying to build a home in STX but unfortunately no one seems to be able to recommend a good draftsman that is not so overpriced that we are paying him the cost of the house BEFORE its even built! And why are all quotes for cisterns, sewer, houseplan stamps, etc based on # of bedrooms as opposed to sq ft. I mean I can have 5 bedrooms and no kids or 2 bedrooms in a 3500 sq home? Finally, does anyone know whom I need to contact reqarding foundation wall requirements, I noticed that all of the exterior walls on the homes in STX seem to have the corners poured solid. This seems very wasteful (concrete wise) when it would be a lot easier to just tie (interlock) the blocks and just pour the cells solid. Anyway, any referrals would be greatly appreciated since none of the locals in the phonebook will refer business to anyone else. (kinda sad)
