any ideas on who might cater to the longer term rentals and have best rate, mid sept to mid december,2008. i know the usual suspects like judy's, centerline, olympic, but are there some lesser knowns that might have a better rate?

Try Travelers, they offered me a really good rate on a month rental and were willing to work with me.

call dalia at olympic car rental at 340-773-8000
...ask for locals discount... they are locally owned and gave me a great rate for a sub compact...
