Looking to buy a band saw. 14 inches.
Already looked at Home depot and K-mart appliance.

i find it hard to believe home depot does not have one. what about gallows bay or gannet

I don't know of anywhere to find one new on StX. I keep thinking I should sell mine, and then along comes the perfect job for it.
Edited to add, I bet you could shake loose a used grizzly without too much work. There are lots of them on the island.

I bought most of my tools on-line from Northern Tool. Gallows Bay Hardware used to have a pretty good selection of tools also, but I have been off island for a year and don't know for sure.
