looking for a freelance certified flight instructor to give about 15 - 20hours worth of instruction. that person doesn't need an airplane, just the time.

Try contacting Bohlke International. I believe they closed their flight school but might still do some instruction.

Bohlke has not closed their flight school.
I learned at Bohlke....the Diamond's are great for training....I highly recommend them for instruction.

finding a cfi is like finding a needle in a haystack. rob is moving to ny next week. any more leads?

they dont let you train on your own plane

What kind of plane do you have access to Becky? Do you already have your private pilot rating and just looking for a refresher or you're trying to finish up your hours and do your finals?
Besides Rob (he's part time right now) BIA has another young lady CFI as well (Lindsey Jacobson). Plenty of pilots around sometimes but finding an actual CFI might be a bit more complicated.
You might contact Fiona, who's taking care of the flight school last I checked. Some of you may know her voice from listening to 104.9 in the mornings...
