Good morning, all ~

Our beloved cat Oliver has literally "jumped ship"; we live on a sailboat out in Elephant Bay, hoping he may have made it over to Water Island. He's approx. 1.5 years, grey tabby with white chest and paws. If anyone has found him, please contact me here. Thank you in advance.

Did you have a rope on the boat in the water at all times?

Do you think he could have made it on a ferry to St Croix? I work at the marina right next to the ferry and a cat was in gated, sheltered area when I closed up tonight. I will take a pic of him tomorrow if I see him

Edited to ask if he wears a white collar.

DUN - yes, we have TWO ropes in the water all the time. He'd previously managed to get into one of our dinghys and back onto the boat, but not this time.

Marlene - no white collar. Every collar with name tag we tried to put on him he wriggled out of.

Thanks to everyone for their concern and their help - not ready to give up yet!

~Ann~

Ann, good luck. Our cat disappeared in the rain forest and was gone for a month. We had completely given up hope when she came running in one day, scrawny and covered with mud, but alive and well. 🙂

Hang in there (& keep looking).
I don`t know of any loose dogs on Water Island(just some dogs are walked there).
Keep calling his name & shake favoirte treats9if you do that sort of thing).

Also, it`s possible he made it to another dingy...have you asked the neighbors?
