Hi all,

It seems a little silly to even post this, but everyone on the list seems to be very helpful so....I lost my i-phone last night somewhere between Gallows Bay marina and Rum Runners....it has a hard pink case, and was last seen inside a soft black bag that would normally hold sunglasses. PM me if you have any suggestions etc....on what to do. I just moved here two weeks ago and have had lot of luck on this forum.. Thanks for any advice!!

Kiki

Good morning Kiki,

I recommend you file a report at the police station, if you haven't already. It probably won't help, but there's a small chance it could help! Good luck.

Check with the AT&T office. Someone may have turned it in.

I would also check with businesses along the route, someone might have turned it in near where they found it. Have you called the number? I would try that first.

Yeah - you can try the Post Office in Gallows Bay too, someone might have turned it in there.

First thing is call ATT and turn off the phone, you will be liable for all charges. Too bad you were not aware of an Iphone app which allows you to track your phone via GPS on your desk top or laptop. You could watch your phone driving down a street, pretty cool app.

Funny story but true, when we first moved here I lost my wallet - presumedly in a taxi. I called the police and they told me to call "did not say whom" and have it put on the radio. So I spent 45 minutes trying to convince someone at one of the local radio stations to make an announcement about my lost wallet.

For those of you who don't get it, he meant for me to call the taxi company and the taxi company would get on the radio and see if any of the drivers still had it.

Hope you find your phone but yes, report it to ATT right away.

Pamela

do a search on the app store. It comes up for 99 cents. Just type in phone locator.
