I am considering getting a Magic Jack for my Business, and would like to know what experiences anyone has had with it.

Thanks!

I've had one for two years. I have liked it. $20 a year is hard to beat. They had no VI numbers when I got mine so I got a Miami number. Voice mail gets emailed to me. I have one of the old USB models but I have a computer that is always on. The new ones need no computer. I have also taken it on vacation. Voice quality is good.

My Sister In Law uses one and it works great, although it will drop a call every now and then, but what Cell Phone or hard phone line in St. Thomas that doesn't do that on a regular basis. It's a great deal.:-)

I had the original MagicJack that plugged into my computer and it worked fine.

Upgraded to the new model that gives you the option to plug it directly into your router. Works even better.

Also I use the MagicJack app on my Iphone when traveling overseas to make free calls to anywhere in the USA using Wifi. Works great and just making a few calls when traveling pays for the MagicJack and the annual service. People can also call you on the MagicJack number when traveling if you are connected to Wifi.

Yes, no need for a computer - the new ones connect directly to your modem.
