I am planning on camping in Cinnamon Bay (cottage) in early July.
Just how hot or buggy should I expect it to be? Would we better off at Maho? Perhaps cooler due to the elevation. My son kind of favors the beach.

Hello Nancy,

It will be hot; July-September are our hotest months - high 80's-90. Shouldn't be too buggy unless we get rain shortly before your trip. Rainier months are buggier than the drier months. There is a good weather section on our travel site at http://www.vinow.com/usvi/weather.php. Also if you are visiting St. John rather than moving there you might find more information on that site as its travel related.
