Mahogany doors

Good morning board. I have been working on this property in Christiansted which contains a fair amount of mahogany woodwork. The only thing that is not mahogany is the interior wood doors, which are destroyed. I was under the impression that you couldn't buy that type of wood anymore, until I saw it at Home Depot (great price, but wrong size). Now I am curious if there is anywhere else in the island may sell them? Primary looking for unfinished.

As an update on my first USVI construction project: everything is going very well. Been here a week, electric and plumbing all checked, repaired, and good. Roof should be done by next week. All new energy efficient fixtures and appliances installed. I am now painting the interior, and hope to have that complete by Monday or Tuesday.

I was anticipating something to go wrong, or be horribly delayed, but everything is going very smoothly so far (knocking on wood :))

Glad to hear everything is moving along. Just my two cents but I wouldn't invest in mahogany interior doors. They're very expensive and my 'druthers would be basic and way less expensive interior doors stained in a mahogany color to complement the woodwork already in place. If you were constructing a multimillion dollar villa it would be a different story but yours is a very simple little place. Good luck as the work continues.

Dunigan Designs in Castle Coakley is the island's best source for mohogany and wood working expertise. These folks are the experts.

I recently installed Mahogany doors. I went through the Armrey. They shipped them in from PR. I am happy with them.

Can someone PM East End Doug and ask him to PM me his phone number? I can read PMs but cannot respond to them with my phone for some reason...
