Mailbox Service - STX

I am looking for a mailbox service (other than the USPS) that has a physical address on St Croix, and hopefully which I can secure prior to my arrival next month.

Does anyone know of any such service they can recommend which is somewhat centrally located, preferrably near Sunny Isle, or also near C-sted?

I've searched on this forum, and have found old threads about about this subject and people have recommended Mailboxes, Etc, but I am not sure if they are still in business.

Any information will be helpful.

We use Mailboxes, Etc. and are happy with their service. We've had our mail delivered there for 10+ years with few problems. Their phone number is 340.719.5131.

It's "Mailboxes & More".. formerly known as Mailboxes Etc... Locally owned with excellent service!... located at the south from Sunny Isles Shopping Mall...

I used Mailboxes/More on STX for 2 years. They still owe me $$ from when I had prepaid the year and then didn't need their service any more. They agreed to pro-rate and give me some money back. I stopped in several times and was either told "we don't have the cash right now" or owner was not in his office. I also had two cell phones delivered to that address by FedEx which disappeared.

I hope these are isolated incidents.

I've used them for over 5 years and I just renewed again... I've never had issues with items... and I've had a lot of things go thru their business... even a very expensive and powerful $3k laptop...

Thanks, all, for the feedback. I contacted them last week, and they were quite helpful.

For anyone how is interested, they will fax you a Mailbox Service Agreement, which you have to complete as well as a Form 1583 (Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent) along with a copy of your picture ID. Once they have that, they will take your credit card information over the phone and you are all set.

The current rate, at least at the time of this writing, is $60/year plus a onetime $15 set-up fee. Contact number is 340-719-5131

USPS is $90 a yr. for a small box.
However, sometimes there is a waiting list depending on location.

I know at the main PO in St Thomas they have over a dozen boxes available. They had tags on the boxes you just grab and take one to the counter and sign up for it. Even chose the number you like. It's part of their new PR campaign.
