Just wondering about telcasts of mainland sports. Do they get certain teams, such as the dolphins or Marlins? I know it is trivial, but I need to be connected to my teams somehow. Is directtv available, their satalite service allows you to purchase numerous sports packages. If not, are there any Green Bay Packers bars or clubs where I could watch my beloved Pack? Its not a big deal, but if anyone knows anything, I would appreciate any feedback.

Karl,

I'm not sure about st. croix, but there are a few places on st. thomas to catch pretty much any game, particularly nfl. There is the Caribbean Saloon in Red Hook, which I feel is the best sports bar on the island. They have 3 huge projection tv's and many smaller ones. In Havensight, Shipwreck Tavern also draws a big Sunday crowd to watch football. As far as a GB Bar, Betsy's in Frenchtown is owned by a woman from Wisconsin, so I would imagine there are a lot of Cheeseheads there on Sunday. You should at least stop by and buy one of her "Cheeseheads in Paradise" t shirts. Also, we do have Dish Network available on the island, though I am not sure whether they offer the Sunday Ticket.
