MAJOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE INTERRUPTION AFFECTING STT-STJ DISTRICT
WAPA is experiencing a major electrical service interruption in the St. Thomas - St. John district. Plant personnel are working to rebuild adequate generation capacity to facilitate restoration of service to the affected customers. Two units at the Randolph Harley power plant tripped at 8:15 am Sunday.
Customers on St. Thomas, St. John, Water Island and Hassel Island are affected.
(Been back since Jan. 31st. This is my 20th outage...that I've been at home for!)
