Hey All,
Its getting closer to the lift off day and I am feeling weary of finding work....I know there is oppurtunity everywhere, hence I have travaled abroad and I can do pretty much anything. BUT Massage is my forte' and I would love to be doing serious treatment massage. Anyone know of an outlet for clinical massage??? Any help would be VERY appreciated.

Jasmine: I think you are probably going to need to be here to find work. Have you contacted any massage therapists to find out about licensing requirements? That would be a good place to start.

Jasmine, did my friend call you? If not, let me know and I will remind her.

!!!!!!!!!!!! THANX ALL !!!!!!!!!!!

Ronnie,
Hey there, No she has not. As far as licensing I am a member of the NCTMB and I am licensed in the State of WA. Which is in the top 10 for the most hours of education and requirments to actually practice. So I think I am good as far as all that goes. I may have to take a test when I arrive...We will see. Ronnie if you could get back to your friend that would be great!!

PS I have been trying to get a PO box on St John......The connections site never replys....or sends back the home web site. Any info on that. I am pretty sure I can apply for one here in the states, and then have it forwarded to the VI's....What do you think?? * Jasmine *

Hello Jasmine,

To get a PO (Post Office) Box here, you have to do it in person at the Post Office.

For a mail center box you can try http://www.mailcentervi.com/ and also Connections http://connectionsstjohn.com/
(if you are having trouble with their e-mail then give them a call). Some of the mail centers will set up the box while you are away by faxing applications to you etc. So you can try that.

Once you have a local mailing address you can have mail forwarded from your former address. I am pretty certain the US Postal Service will forward mail for up to a year. You can contact them to double check.
