Dear Forum:
Please assist me with the following questions.
1) Does the VI have a Medicare system like the other states?
2) Does the VI have Hospice services?
3) Does VI have Home Health services?
4) Or are all medical services and end of life services done via hospitals and nursing care facilities?
Thanks any advise and knowledge will help....

Medicare is accepted here. I don't know about hospice services. I think the Home Health Care is administered by the Department of Health. I hope someone else has more info for you.

!. Yes, we are part of the Medicare system (we really are part of the US, although one could get arguments about that.)
2, There are two home hospice organizations- Continuum Care and La Paz
3. There is a Medicare certified home health (Seaview) and a territorial government home health group.
4. No.
