Money for roads redirected, Turnbull?

I recall hearing a few years ago that the islands revived funds from the government for rain repair, but that Turnbull redirected those funds elsewhere, for personal political gain. Is this true, or another case of rumor mill run amuck?

Not sure what you mean by "rain repair" but Federal highway funds can't be redirected and have to be accounted for. Major gut/drainage work has been completed in recent years and has been ongoing as needed as long as I've lived on STT.

Sorry, my bad. Road repair not rain repair. Not sure how that came out that way.

Personally, am surprised Turnbull did not serve any jail time in connection with his term in office.
