I'm looking for somewhere in town or between the airport and town that will rent rooms monthly. The Island Beachcomber and Emerald Beach are not doing it at this time. Any other options would be a great help...

Thanks

Hello David,

Emerald Beach is operated by the same folks at Carib Beach Resort - but I always thought it was Carib that had the monthly rentals. Did you ask about Carib or just Emerald??

Close to the airport - you could try http://www.st-thomas.com/islandviewguesthouse/

French Town is east of the airport, but before you get to the main section of CA. From there to the UVI is perhaps 3-4 miles (??)

It is fairly flat, so I suppose you could walk, but keep in mind that there are no sidewalks in most places here, so you end up walking on the shoulder of the 2 lane road. Not bad during the daylight hours, but a little un-nerving in the dark.

And of course, the delightful downpours that fill our cisterns often come with very little warning.

If you found an apartment in Frenchtown you could take the bus to UVI or walk or use a bike - or a combination of the three.
